Mark Rotella was born in Connecticut and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He graduated from Columbia University in 1992 with a B. A. in Russian Literature.  He currently works as an editor at Publishers Weekly. His writing has appeared in The New York Times and elsewhere. He lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.
This is his first book.
