Changes at FL Primo

Paul De Pace, the editor since FL Primo's inception, is leaving and will be moving to California to pursue opportunies on the business side of the Music Industry.

Mr. De Pace says "My time at FL Primo was Great, it was very satisying to have been so immersed in my Italian Heritage while I was here, and I intend to continue to be involved in some manner with my Heritage. At the same time I am excited to persue involvement in my life long passion, Music."

Herve van Caloen, who became the new owner of FL Primo in February of this year,  was quick to assert, "Paul DePace did an excellent job for me and we are sorry to see him leaving, although we fully understand his motivation."

Francis DeFabo, the founder of F&L Primo, was fortunately able to arrange his affairs so that he  will again be actively involved in the editorial aspect of the magazine.

Mr. van Caloen, a Belgian citizen, is an Italophile  who moved to the States 20 years ago. Before the acquisition of Primo, he worked for 18 years as an international portfolio manager for major US asset management companies.

Stiletto Heels Made Their Point

High Fashion: The Stiletto Heel
By Stephanie Michaels Ondo Italian influence is everywhere in American culture: in our architecture, our language, our food—and even on our feet! The stiletto heel, a staple of fashion runways and women’s wardrobes everywhere, was introduced to the world by Italian aristocracy. Since then, the stiletto has become pointedly popular with fashion-conscious women throughout the world. Read more about the rise of this cultural phenomenon in the latest issue of Primo!
