Dear Guest Services Team,

As an Italian Jew, I feel that Bill Maher focuses far too much attention on
my Italian ancestry when it relates to crime, and that Bill Maher's and my
Jewish ancestry in the form of the  Red Mafiya and Israel Kosher Nostra,
recieves practically no attention at all.

The Italian Mafia is a "has been", but according to the FBI, whereas the
Jewish, Latin American, Asian groups are a "clear and present danger" of
great and growing consequence.

You say Mr. Maher is "push(ing) the limits of the envelope to encourage
examination of societal norms", and "all are equally offended"

Don't insult my intelligence, Maher is going for the quick cheap laugh.
His parody, satire, and insults are barely above "tiolet humor", that I could
ignore it if it was equitably distributed, which it is NOT.

When asked why Mr. Maher focused so much on Italian Negative Stereotypes, Mr.
Maher's reply was "Italian Americans are so much more colorful, and they
don't complain".

It makes your "canned" answer smell as odiferous as a bad can of sardines.

I resent having the Jewish part of my ancestry "trashing" the Italian part of
my ancestry.

Please give me a thoughtful response, and an assurrance that there will be
greater sensitivity to the subject, and perhaps some reflection by Mr. Maher
on his obvious bias, and his reflection on the same type of "demonizing" that
our Jewish ancestors were subjected to.

Awaiting your response,

Thank you for your concern regarding Politically Incorrect.  The focus
and intent of the show is to present news and express opinions that may
well be considered potentially offensive as expressed in an open forum.
Mr. Maher and the producers of the show regularly push the limits of the
envelope to encourage examination of societal norms.  We can assure you
that members of all groups (religious, ethnic, political, ability,
profession, and other) find themselves the target of Mr. Maher's pointed
repartee and are all equally offended by those of his comments that are
directed toward them.

We do regret that the program offended you and will be certain to
forward your email to the show's producers to make them aware of your
views.
