As I have said many times
before, until the Italian American Community
can create a COALITION of I-A ANTI-DEFAMATION
Efforts of Various
I-A Major Organizations, and recognize the POWER
of the INTERNET,
and get their members Web-Connected, our potential
successes, will be
minimized!!!!
Below is an article indicating ONE Muslim Organization
(with one-third the
population of Italian Americans) has 500,000
Web Members!!!
Consider the Degree of Influence that can be
exerted by "mobilizing" those
numbers of web connected I-A's, and properly
"orchestrating them" !!
As a further note, the Asian Community again,
has one-third the Population
of I-as yet their Asian Avenue.com has 1, 800,
000 Web Members!

If a Major I-A Organization is going to
consider themselves Spokespersons,
and a Leader of the I-A Community, then "Why
are they Asleep at the Switch",
when all other Ethnic groups have LONG recognized
the POWER of the Internet!!

WHO SPEAKS FOR MUSLIMS IN AMERICA

African Americans have Rainbow/PUSH, the NAACP and the Urban League.
Latinos have the National Council of La Raza. But who represents the
Islamic-American community in the public eye?
Two organizations – the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)
and
the American Muslim Council (AMC) – have emerged in the aftermath of
Sept. 11 to decry terrorism on behalf of U.S. (7 million) Muslims and
spotlight retaliatory hate crimes against their communities and places
of
worship....
And there are two other major political-action groups that represent
Muslim
Americans on Capitol Hill and in the media – the American Muslim Alliance
and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC)...
... the Detroit News reports that CAIR has 10 regional offices, 30 local
chapters and 500,000 online subscribers to its Web site.
