Peter Pace; Joint Chiefs
of Staff Chairman Testifies on Italian Immigrant Parents
The

General Peter Pace, recalled his Italian parents'

While
I have great admiration for General Pace, I do not agree with the role he is
being forced to play.
My
reasons are:
The
First Responsibility of a Country is to Defend it's
Borders, whether the Invasion be by Military Action or Illegal Immigrants.
A
country has a Right to determine WHO they permit
to immigrate, to serve it's Purposes, whether it is to protect it's Culture, or
to promote Diversity.
Every Country MUST
have Policies that obstruct entrance to those whose intent is Civil
Chaos, are carriers of Diseases, have Criminal Backgrounds, do not have the
capability to be Self Supportive, and NOT drain limited Public Resources, etc,
etc.....
The
statement that we are an Immigrant Nation, is NOT true, We
WERE an Immigrant Nation, BUT a LEGAL Immigrant Nation!!!!!!!
In
1840 the
The
Immigration Campaign was SO overly successful that early in the new
century Congress attempted to pass some Immigration Reform, and was
unsuccessful until 1917, with the Johnson Act, and 1921 with the
Johnson-Reed Act, Congress passed STRICT Immigration Reform, when we had
reached a population of 105 Million, (Growth of 6x in
80 years). In 2006 the
Most
of the 6
The
Myth that the Mexicans do only jobs
that Americans is a MYTH. Only 14% work in Agriculture. Most of the others are
in Construction or Services Industry, in which they are able to drive down the
Hourly Rates and Worker protections
It
is NOT a Myth that MECHA (Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan) -
which has more than 300 chapters at U.S. colleges, and its

is a separatist call for the "Reconquest"
of the Aztlan Empire, which is the entire
Southwest USA, lost in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (1848) resulting
from the US- Mexican War, and to annex it to Mexico. Those who don't like
the sound of "Reconquest" prefer to term it
"Re-Mexicanization"

"My dad came here, sometimes worked three jobs, but the jobs were there
for him and the opportunities were there for him," Pace said. "There
is no other country on the planet that affords that opportunity to those who
come."
He told the five senators that the first Marine he lost as a rifle platoon
leader in
"I still owe those who served with me in
Committee Chairman John W. Warner (R-Va.) brought the

The hearing was particularly important because Senate and House members will
meet soon to find a compromise, said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
Also testifying Monday was Medal of Honor recipient Alfred Rascon,
who told senators none of his fellow soldiers cared whether he was an immigrant
when he threw himself on wounded comrades to shield them from bullets and
grenade blasts in
"These men who fought with me and died beside me never asked my legal
status," said Rascon! , a
