One
can only hope that Michael Tremoglie, Italian
American, can use his considerable talents to tell Italian American stories,
somewhat like Lisa Scottoline, who utilizes an
All Italian American Law firm in all her novels, and in "Killer
Smile" she tells the story of the WWII
Enemy Aliens Act, and how it negatively impacted 600,000 Italian Americans,
while an even greater number were fighting in the US Military.
All the "Civilian" Reviewers of "Sense Of Duty" gave the Book 5 Stars, the Top Rating.
Book Lover "Fred"
(Philly) -called the book pithy, complex and
startlingly realistic. Tremoglie satisfies those of
us who enjoy serious realism; a realism in which the lives of the characters
have real and often troubling demands on their loves and loyalties.
CosmoBarone says what I appreciated the most was the first hand
view of how the newspapers get everything so wrong. Mike shows us how the media
gets input from groups with an ax to grind that color their stories and mislead their readers.
Jim Laurie "pianodude3" (Phila. PA) Prolific
political writer Michael P. Tremoglie's first foray
into fiction takes you inside life on the beat,
life on the street and life among the elite. Tremoglie
also manages to expose the hypocrisy of an overly politically correct
culture with everyman commonsense. "Sense of Duty" would make a great
motion picture.
James E. Barnhill "Paper
Colonel" (Yakima, WA, USA) "A Sense of Duty" is a
Grabber!I I hated to put it down!
Frank J. Melfi III The
insight into misguided loyalties and the breaking of long held mores' make this
a fascinating read.
If
one is looking to learn about American Dreams and Nightmares look no further.
