America's Louis Vuitton Yachting Cup in Valencia, Spain

America's Cup, named after a French product, racing in Spain!!!!!!

Italy has 3 entries in the 11 yachts: Luna Rossa, Mascalzone, and +39.

On Thursday, Luna Rossa lost  TWICE, a shocker to South Africa Shosholoza by 36 secs, and a squeker to  BMW Oracle (USA)  by 6 secs. Yes, 6 secs!

BMW ( I thought was German) Oracle (I thought was Greek) is the USA entry and is unbeaten so far.

After five of 11 flights in round one:
