FUND TO BE ESTABLISHED FOR ITALIAN-AMERICAN
VICTIMS OF TERROR ATTACKS

Silvana Mangione, coordinator of the advisement committee of the
General Council of Italians Abroad, announced today from Lascaris Palace in
Turin, site of the Crystal Ceilings convention, that "28% OF THE RESCUE
WORKERS THAT DIED in the Twin Towers attack were Italian-Americans."

She made a plea that Italy must not forget the children...

Ms. Mangione said that "in the United States it is difficult to maintain children
in college, and that something must be done for Italian-American orphans
whose parents so courageously sacrificed themselves."
