The Forever Self Promoting Donald Trump who leaves an impressive and continuing list of Bankruptcies in his wake over the last 40 years, has only a Bachelor's degree, and certainly Not a Law degree, and no particular knowledge of Italian Law, that is a "meld" of "adversarial" law and "non adversarial" law, whose objective is to achieve Justice, rather than produce winners and losers as in the US. 

Trump puts much emphasis on "Foxy Knoxy" having no lawyer during investigation (not interrogation), but ignores that was because "Foxy Knoxy" said when offered, she didn't need one, she hadn't done anything wrong, and the multi-day investigations were necessary because both "Foxy Knoxy" and Raffaele Sollecito made a continuum of inconsistent and contradictory statements, even about what they were doing while together,  they contradicted by one another. They are contradicted by telephone and computer records, by closed-circuit TV footage, and by the corroborated testimony of several witnesses. and also made a continuum of inconsistent and contradictory statements to friends and acquaintances BEFORE the statements she and he made to police. 

Regarding :The Donald's" statement that her verdict was a result of Anti -Americanism, BUT he doesn't explain why  Raffaele Sollecito, the son of a wealthy influential ITALIAN Doctor in Pulgia was also found Guilty. By Trumps logic, Italy was also Anti- Italian. !!!!!!!!

Free Amanda Knox

There is a disturbing injustice surrounding the Amanda Knox case and I think we should boycott Italy until they do the right thing and free Amanda.

Knox was interrogated for over 50 hours in a five day period, and Italian law states that a suspect cannot be interrogated without a lawyer. During part of this interrogation, Amanda Knox did not have a lawyer.

When she returned to prison after her conviction, her fellow prisoners cried in disbelief because they knew she was innocent. They should put the prosecutor in jail, not Amanda Knox. I have little doubt, based on what I saw, that he abused his power and in fact he is already under investigation for abuse of power in an unrelated case. (I would bet, based on what I saw during Amanda's trial, that he is guilty.) Why don't they put him in her jail cell and let her go.

What's really going on over there? Nothing has been made clear -- except that Amanda Knox is now in an Italian prison for perhaps her whole life. Is that the easy solution? One solution is to boycott Italy until they decide to get serious and let her go.
