We are in "Class" Warfare, Not "Different than Me" Warfare

The Monarchies, Robber Barons, Corporate Oligarchies, all the Haves keep their position of Privilege and Greed by keeping the Have-Not "peasants" fragmented and fighting amongst themselves, so as not to threaten the Haves. A Technique used successfully for millenniums.

Lots of Enemies When Fighting Inequality
Daily Commercial; Raymond L. Lohsl ; Leesburg;  Sunday, May 23, 2010

The United States has always practiced racial profiling and discrimination. When I was a young boy in Pennsylvania, the main employer was the railroad which hired immigrants from various countries.
The English were assigned to management and white collar work; Germans were mechanics and machinists; Slavic people were sent to the coal mines; Irish were conductors, brakemen and engineers; Italians were handed a broom and a dust pan; Black people were redcaps, shoe shiners and janitors in the stations and Pullman porters on the trains.
When I entered military service I found discrimination in the fountains and restrooms for whites only throughout the south; in Texas the Mexicans were also denied equality.
When I was first employed I learned that Non WASPs,  women and black employees had limits as to how high they could rise in federal government. In the Dakotas the Indians were the outcasts. The treatment of Indians is still the most shameful discriminatory practice of our republic.
Currently, the homosexuals are the group receiving the discrimination treatment. If the military abolishes don't ask, don't tell, the homosexual community will still have to fight for equal rights in civilian life.
Right to Life advocates are working to deny surgical abortion or the use of a pill to terminate a pregnancy.
Our social structure has three classes of people, the wealthy, middle and poor. Middle and poor classes suffer a more subtle form of financial discrimination. The bankers charge exorbitant rates for various credit card and bank charges and the insurance and medical industries charge exorbitant rates for health insurance and medications.
Sadly, many middle class and poor people who listen to the propaganda of the evil FOX News network and loudmouth Rush Limbaugh, are hoodwinked into fighting against the groups who are working on their behalf to get lower rates on borrowed money, health insurance and medications.
If President Obama, the champion of the defenseless middle class and poor people, were fighting for the wealthy people, he wouldn't have the opposition that he is encountering.
