Johnny DeCarlo is a supposed Food Caterer, but actually a Visionary Meatball Empire Builder (translated UnEmployed with delusions of Grandeur)  who is being nagged by his pregnant bride to be  to get a Job, who takes GREAT Pride in Being a GUIDO, but even worse acting like one, who was a Reject from the "Jersey Shore", but one of it's Vociferous Supporters,  and later  landed a role on "My Big Friggin Wedding" 

DeCarlo is a 31 year old that should have grown up by this time, but over the 10 years I have known him he has Not. Although he now denies that he once believed that the Guido "culture" admires the Mafia , and held them up as Role Models of Dress, Swagger and Dialect.

Unbelievably, the Calandra Institute invited this Anti -Intellect, who prides himself on intuition rather than education, as a Panelist at a Conference to tout the merits of GUIDOS. Calandra Institute then gave him a Prime Blogger spot on it's I-Italy Web Site (IADP). When sufficient number of people questioned the wisdom of such actions,  Joe Scorria (Who Blogs as Joe Skee), and is the Cultural Director (Actually only an expert on Italian Rap and Italian Folklore), and the Executive Director Anthony Tamburri (whose Italian background is limited to Language and Literature, with No History or Culture, and who prides himself as the author of Esoteric  Unread Books dealing mostly with Semiotics) and  kept him on board , but in a less obvious location, to discuss Italian Cuisine, which in DeCarlo's mind revolves almost solely around Meatballs, perhaps to Promote his Speculative Meatball Empire. 

The award is given to the Italian, Italian American or a group of Italian Americans
that has done the most to tarnish the image of Italian Americans.
