Boy Brits Are 'Turning Italian'  - Becoming "Mammismo"

It makes economic sense with Unemployment, Lesser Careers,  High Real Estate Prices, and the More Important Family Closeness.

What shocked me was that Parents are three times more likely to allow their sons to move in than their daughters who are seen as lazier and less likely to contribute !!!

British men have started copying their Italians conterparts in the notorious phenomenon of "Mammismo" a new survey reveals.

"Mammismo" is the label applied to Italian men who never leave their leave their parent's home and stay tied to their mother's apron strings.

In Italy "Mammismo" has been a fact for live for decades where it is regarded as the opposite of Machismo and those involved are derided.

Now a new UK survey reveals that 79% of men questioned have returned to live with their parents at some point after originally leaving home.

And the report reveals that mothers are more welcoming to their adult sons than daughters since they are more likely to pay rent, pitch in with the housework and take their parents' advice on their career and love life.

The survey was conducted by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to mark the DVD release of Cyrus.

Parents are three times more likely to allow their "Mammismo" sons to keep moving in and out of home than their daughters who are seen as lazier and less likely to contribute.
