Apparently the Staff of "Jersey Shore" were trying to track down relatives of the cast, who had never previously been in touch, and I doubt seriously they know ANYTHING about their Relatives Region, and REALLY are interested in their Ancestors ???  I was convulsed by the fact that most of their Italian relatives were not interested. !!!!!!!

The Jersey Shore  stars have reportedly left Florence in search of their Italian roots - at least the ones who are Italian, anyway.  (Snooki and JWoWW are 0% Italian despite being cast on the MTV reality show supposedly about a bunch of Italian-Americans).  Pauly D, Mike 'The Situation', Ronnie, Vinny, Sammi and Deena have split up and are each on their way to different areas of Italy to learn about their ancestors, the New York Post   reports today (Wednesday). 

MTV confirms producers were able to track down some of the Jersey Shore  stars' relatives in Italy, although not all of them are receptive to meeting their long lost American relatives. "We spent a few weeks tracking down relatives of the various members of the cast, and they were delighted to get a chance to meet their American relatives," an MTV insider is quoted as saying. "Some were not so sure...you have to remember these people in Italy probably didn't even know they had relatives in the United States."  

 . As far the rest of the Jersey Shore  stars it's unclear if or how many relatives they have living in the country.  According to reports the cast member with Italian blood lines will make stops in Bari, Naples, Calabria and the island of Sicily.
