Created by the Italian Trade Commission, it

.....Italian film, fashion, cuisine and design
 
**highlights 
.....individual artists and designers: 
.....architects who have had an impact on the American architectural landscape; 
.....yacht makers whose high-performance crafts have made Italian-built boats 
     revered as the most sophisticated in the world; and 
.....Italian artists living and working in New York City (Cattelan, Magnani, 
Chia, Siciliano, Amato, Bertasso, Ducrot.)

The issue indicates TWO events that might be of interest: 

(1) a continuing US tour-- April to January, of Zero to Infinity:Arte Povera, 
1962-1972; 

(2) an exhibition of furniture from 50 Italian design companies at the 
International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) Javitts Center NYC. (5/18 to
