It was written by Mario Di Giovanni, PhD, now deceased, a person I had the pleasure to call friend. He had a pure heart, high standards and character, dedicated and generous in his varied efforts on behalf of the Italian American community.
   
This book is the result of a life long study of the "Admiral of the Seas"…through the Books and Records of Columbus.The result is a highly legible, detailed and fascinating account of the exploits and legacy of the Genoese mariner....very different than other books about Columbus.
