Pizza Sent by Israelis to Military to Show Appreciation ???
Just a little "something" to remind the Israeli Defense Forces of Home??? :)

Not Lox, Bagel, and Cream Cheese, or a Pastrami Sandwich on an Onion Roll?
Not even Cheese Cake?? At least Chinese??? (An Inside Jewish Joke)

An example of the international embracing of our most modest of Italian Cuisine.

If Pizza will lift the IDF's spirit, can you imagine what one of our Italian Grandmother's Sunday Home Cooked Meals, or a Dinner from a well regarded NYC or Chicago
Italian Restaurant would do?

Excerpts from the PIZZA IDF.Org WebSite follows:

In these troubled times, people around the world are looking for tangible ways to share their feelings with our Israeli soldiers. Our site gives you the opportunity to send Pizza..... to active duty soldiers who are fighting terror and protecting the Jewish people. This includes soldiers on regular military service as well as those who have left their families, homes and jobs to serve the Jewish people as Miluim (Reserve Duty) fighters....

[RAA Note: Hot Vegetable Soup, Donuts, Burgers, and Dried Fruit are suggested as possible alternatives..........oh sure!!!!!!]

One 18" Pizza Pie & 1 bottle of Soda
                 for a patrol (5 Soldiers)  = $16.95...

[RAA NOTE: Obviously this is meant as a small gesture, and perhaps as an Appetizer or Desert, since I have been known to finish off one of those all by myself. [;-) ]

All our products are Kosher l'Mehadrin

Delivery included in price.

Our deliveries are coordinated with the security forces
and pose no security risk.

* Pepsi or Coca-Cola (Coke) depending on the hechsher (kosher supervision) of the delivering pizzeria.
