Dr. Iyob is an Ehiopian/Eritrean national who was raised bilingual, Ethiopian and Italian. She will discuss her experience growing up in a former Italian colony, and the relations between her people and Italy.

*: The location of the lecture is Ritter Hall on St. Louis University's campus.  Ritter Hall is the square building on the east side of Grand between Lindell and Laclede. It's where the arches are. Ritter Hall is the home of the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Modern and Classical Languages. The classroom for the lecture is located on the third floor.
