game of Soccer is CONTROL, particularly control of the MIDFIELD, MIDFIELD,
MIDFIELD. Slovakia Controlled the Midfield. Therefore Slovakia were
able to blunt any attack by Italy, and able to mount easy attacks against
Italy.
The AZZURRI were slow, sluggish,
because of age, or because Italy traditionally starts slow like a thoroughbred

- Thu, 24 Jun 2010 - Per la Nazionale è finito il sogno del Mondiali
2010 in Sud Africa. Gli azzurri hanno perso contro la Slovacchia 3 a 2.
Un'Italia che non si è mai vista in campo davvero, se non negli
ultimi minuti della partita, davvero intensi.
L'Italia che abbiamo conosciuto nel
2006 non c'è mai stata in questi Mondiali 2010. In Sud Africa gli
azzurri sono stati sempre inconcludenti, non hanno mai saputo dare il massimo.
La partita è stata nettamente
a favore della Slovacchia, aggressiva, prepotente, veloce, superiore anche
fisicamente all'Italia.
Durante il primo tempo l'Italia non
si è vista nemmeno. Il secondo tempo, è stato un unico brivido
negli ultimi minuti. La partita è terminata dopo alcuni momenti
di intensa agonia.
E' finito il Mondiale della Nazionale:
gli azzurri presto torneranno a casa. Ma se il calcio italiano è

avanzano e conquistano il primo posto in classifica

- Dopo 90 minuti di assiduo martellamento e scarsa fortuna da parte degli
USA Landon Donovan, che ha giocato mediocremente durante il resto dell
partita, si avvale della sua esperienza per trovarsi al posto giusto il
momento giusto e batte il portiere algerino, che fino allora aveva respinto
egregiamente gli attacchi americani, con uno splendido goal al 91.mo minuto
della partita. Il risultato rivendica il primo goal segnato da Dempsey
e annullato per un presunto fuori gioco. L'USA conquista cosi il primo
posto nel Girone C mentre l'Inghilterra battendo la Slovenia si aggiudica
il secondo posto in classifica. Eliminate quindi Slovenia e Algeria. |

2010, Tutti contro Lippi. E se invece…

Italia chiama Italia - Mon, 21 Jun
2010 - La Germania non ha brillato, l’Inghilterra fa il paio, la Spagna
sonnecchia; e perché allora buttare la croce addosso proprio agli
azzurri senza dare loro almeno un’opportunità? Dopotutto Lippi ha
dimostrato sempre di saper vincere e convincere a modo suo, non merita
forse più rispetto e fiducia?
Nelle partite materasso gli azzurri
non hanno mai reso molto, mentre sotto pressione rendono di più
e poi prima di stigmatizzarli, lasciamoli giocare fino in fondo il girone
almeno. Non è questo il modo di sostenere l’Italia che difende il
titolo! Dov’è il tifo? Dov’è la passione italiana per il
calcio? Fino a giovedì almeno, cerchiamo di ritrovare un cuore azzurro!

- NELSPRUIT (SUDAFRICA) - E adesso si rischia. Nel «gironcino»
l’Italia colleziona un altro pareggio (il secondo di fila per 1 a 1) e
finisce in una buca dalla quale sarà dura tirarsi fuori. Troppo
brutta per essere vera la squadra bloccata dalla Nuova Zelanda e ora (quasi)
obbligata a vincere contro la Slovacchia per non dire addio al Mondiale.
IN CAMPO COL 4-4-2 - C’è una
sola novità (per giunta annunciata) nell’undici proposto da Lippi
rispetto alla gara d’esordio con il Paraguay: in porta, al posto del malandato
Buffon, spazio a Marchetti. È l'idea tattica che è cambiata.
Mollato il 4-2-3-1, si punta sul 4-4-2. Iaquinta fa compagnia a Gilardino.
Marchisio lascia la trequarti (dove non ha mai brillato) per traslocare
sulla fascia sinistra di centrocampo. Moduli diversi, stesso risultato:
qualche sprazzo, tanta confusione e buchi in difesa. |

scelte, a casa non ci sono fenomeni che avrebbero cambiato la situazione»

- IL GOL DELL'ITALIA Daniele De Rossi è l'autore del primo
gol dell'Italia ai Mondiali del Sud Africa. De Rossi si butta di prepotenza
sul pallone, dopo un calcio d'angolo, e segna il gol del pareggio, al 18'
del secondo tempo: 1 a 1 Italia-Paraguay.
Un secondo tempo pieno di adrenalina
per l'Italia, che ha avuto diverse occasioni da gol dopo la rete di De
Rossi, che però non ha saputo trasformare. Italia-Uruguay finisce
con un pareggio.
LIPPI: "PARTITE COME QUESTA VANNO
VINTE" Adesso ci sono sei giorni per prepararsi al match con la Nuova
Zelanda. Lì dovremo portare a casa un risultato migliore di questo:
ma l'Italia c'è, ha giocato bene. "Partite come questa vanno vinte",
ha detto Marcello Lippi a fine partita. Buffon? "Ha avuto un problema alla
